For this short series, titled “Crystals”, I matched the personalities and aura of women with the traits a crystal possesses. Lorah, my model for this piece is the human embodiment of confidence. The way she carries herself in her personal and professional life makes others gravitate towards her naturally. I look at her as a symbol for other women to remind them of their worth. This pieces is resined with real carnelian crystals, constantly emitting it’s powerful properties to those around it.
Carnelian is known as the "Stone of Motivation," radiating a warm, energizing vibration that boosts confidence, courage, and creativity. It is believed to inspire passion and drive, making it an excellent stone for artists, entrepreneurs, and anyone seeking motivation to pursue their goals. Associated with the sacral and root chakras, carnelian enhances vitality, strengthens endurance, and provides a sense of stability and grounding. It is also thought to dispel fear, reduce anxiety, and encourage emotional resilience.
