About

Isac Gres is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores identity, transformation, and the tension between internal and external realities. Working across painting, muralism, and sculpture, he creates emotionally charged compositions that merge surrealism with lived experience.

Born in Cuba, Gres’s practice is deeply shaped by a journey defined by movement, displacement, and resilience. Traveling through multiple countries before establishing himself in the United States, his lived experience continues to inform a visual language rooted in themes of belonging, survival, and personal evolution.

His work is characterized by fragmented figures, organic forms, and symbolic imagery that evoke both vulnerability and strength. Each piece functions as a psychological landscape—inviting viewers to confront the complexities of the human condition while reflecting on their own sense of purpose and identity.

Gres has built a reputation through large-scale public murals and commissioned works, translating intimate narratives into monumental forms. His ability to bridge deeply personal subject matter with expansive environments has positioned him as a compelling emerging voice in contemporary art.

As his practice expands into sculpture and fine art collections, Gres continues to push both material and conceptual boundaries, developing a body of work that is at once introspective and universally resonant.
