Raised on the east coast of Massachusetts, Contemporary and Pop-Artist SoLe was heavily influenced by the graffiti scene at a young age. His earliest works reflected this as he began to create graffiti art on canvas. At the age of 28, he decided to pursue his dream of being a full-time artist which inspired his move to Los Angeles, CA. While living in L.A., the art scene inspired him to start working with new mediums and techniques that developed into a unique and visually powerful signature style.

His current works often feature 3-D geometric acrylic "blob" symmetry. An acrylic blob consists of multiple layers of paint with a variety of often-repeating colors that give the pieces a 3-D look from all angles. He crafts each canvas by hand from masonite boards and builds layers with hand-cut baltic birch plywood shapes. The backgrounds are embellished with spray paint, which coordinates with the colors of the "blobs" to create a uniform look and style for the piece. Once the acrylic blobs are properly cured to avoid blistering and cracking, the work is finished off with a 2-part epoxy resin to protect the UV sensitive colors while giving the work a glass-like finish.
